This soft drum sander is excellent for intarsia work as well as for rounding and sanding walking sticks and canes. The sander should be attached to a 1725 RPM motor with either a 5/8" or 1/2" shaft. There is also an optional 1/2" adapter shaft so that the sander will fit in a drill press. The sander is 2 3/4" diameter and 7" long.
